Ido Zeev

Ido Zeev (born December 15, 1998), has studied the piano with Mrs. Evgenia Radekovna Polina at the Givatayim Conservatory for seven years. He is a 4th year student at the Thelma Yelin high school for the arts, with which’s orchestra (TYSO) he will be playing as part of its tour in Israel and France. At the year of 2013, he won the 1st prize at the “Golden Key” piano competition, in which he won a year later – 2014, the 1st prize as well in a higher age category. At the same year (2013) he won the 2nd prize at the Nadia Sternberg piano competition, the 3rd prize at the Chopin competition TLV, and the 3rd prize at the “Piano Forever” piano competition. At the year of 2015 he won the 1st prize at the Nadia Sternberg Competition.

Ido has sttended masterclasses  with Tatiana Rubin (11.2013), Ilana Vered (2.2014), and with Jerome Loewenthal (3.2014) which was a part of the “Aldwell Project” for excelling pianists, as part of which, he has participated in several concerts at “The sound of music” live broadcasts. In addition,  he has attended masterclasses with Murray Perahia (12.2015), Alexandr Mndoyants, Tatiana Zelikman , Dimitry Bashkirov (8.2015), Aviram Reichert (10.2012) and Michael Vladovsky (2.2012, 2.2014).

Ido has recitals in Israel and abroad – at “Marianischer Saal”, Lucerne, Switzerland (Dec. 2015), Festival “GIOVANINARTE” Riva San Vitale/Lugano (Nov. 2016), the Be’er Sheva conservatory’s concerts hall etc.

Ido recieved scholarship from the “America-Israel” cultural-foundation for the years 2012-2014, 2014- 2015, excellence-scholarship named after Hava Stern (2012, 2014), The Ronen- foundation scholarship (2014) and scholarship from the “Buchmann-Heimann” foundation for the year 2013.

 Last December (2015), he won the Special Diploma at the Tchaikovsky International Competition for Young Musicians (5-15.12.2015) in Novosibirsk, Russia.
