Pontifical Solemn Mass in the Traditional Roman Rite celebrated for the feast of Christ the King in Bendigo Cathedral 2016. Holy Mass was offered by Bishop Columba Macbeth-Green, bishop of the diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes. His Lordship, Bishop Tomlinson, Bishop of Sandhurst, presided in choir after having welcomed the pilgrims to his cathedral.
The Christus Rex pilgrimage is a three day walk from Ballarat to Bendigo, Australia inspired by the ND de Chrétienté (Paris to Chartres) pilgrimage. It takes places on the last weekend in October each year, for the feast of Christ the King.
