Daniil Kharitonov was born in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. At the age of five he began to study piano at the Middle Special School of Music in Novosibirsk. At the age of six he entered first year at the Central School (College) of Music of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire. He is currently a pupil of Valery Pyasetsky. `
