Arko Narits (born in 1999) started his path to become a musician in Tartu 1st Music School where he studied for eight years in Tiiu Noor’s piano class. He graduated with honours in 2014. Since then Arko is studying in Tallinn Music High School where he is taught by Estonian pianist Marko Martin.

Arko has achieved a lot in competitions and has been an active participant during his studies.

In May 2016 he won the 2nd prize and two special prizes in the international piano competition “Палескi агеньчык“ in Belarus. A month earlier Arko had won the 1st prize in the 8th competition for Estonian young pianists.

In April 2015 Arko participated in the international competition for pianists “Town of Gagny” in France and won the valuable 2nd place there. In November he got the 1st prize in the international competition for young musicians “Kaunas Sonorum” in Lithuania.

The Carmel of Jesus, Mary and Joseph is a papally enclosed Discalced Carmelite community in the farmlands of Elysburg, Pennsylvania. In communion with the Roman Catholic Church and approved by their diocesan bishop, the Most Rev. Ronald Gainer of the Harrisburg Diocese, the cloistered nuns live lives of solitude, prayer and sacrifice. Their monastery is at full capacity — and their numbers continue to grow.

• Observes the traditions of the Carmelite order stretching back to St. John of the Cross and St. Teresa of Avila

The primary mission of the Carmelite Order is to pray and offer oblation for the Church and the world. The use of the Extraordinary Form of the Mass and Divine Office sets this monastery apart and their observance of the Rule and Constitutions is part of an unbroken tradition stretching back from Mexico to Spain to Mount Carmel itself in the Holy Land.

Just like St. Teresa of Avila and St. Thérèse the Little Flower, the nuns practice all the traditional and recognizable aspects of Carmelite and monastic life: the full habit, mental prayer, fasting (the nuns observe a meatless diet), enclosure (walls, grills), austerity, personal and communal pursuit of virtue, and union with God.

quand je pense au père Léon que d'années derrière, "nous avons reçu en cette année 2005  un seul postulant , hu hu hu que je vis rentrer en civil,  pour ne plus jamais en sortir...

et nd de Gaussan avait son autonomie. dom Doat devenait père Abbé.  Que de souvenirs, pour être bien trop seul auj. tiens. désespère pas tout a une fin va ! pourquoi tu vis toujours dans le passé qui ne revient pas  et qui ne t'appartient plus ?
